Magical Elements of Nature

Galeria Adelmo is pleased to present The Magical Elements of Nature featuring Mari Carmen Fernandez wondrous collection of paintings.  You will be overwhelmed with the vibrancy of her art as she creates abstract masterpieces using semi-precious stones, glass, ceramics, fossils and more.  The opening night artist reception and exhibition is on Friday, November 29, and the exhibition runs through December 23.

About the Artist:

Maris’s art has been displayed in exhibitions across the country.  She has been commissioned by prestigious institutions such as Hugo Boss, Gianni Versace, Tommy Bahama, L’Occitane, Cheesecake Factory among many others, to use her artistic abilities to decorate and enhance their spaces.

Mari Carmen Fernandez: “In the development of a work of art I use imaginative techniques, textures and sometimes unconventional materials. My abstract pieces, impregnated with pure color, come to life with luminosity and spontaneity; rivers of light emerge, from intense and joyful to the unexpected, but always conveying a positive and balance energy to the viewer.”

“To me, art is finding beauty in every object: a flower, a butterfly, an oxidized piece of metal, a cloud …. I try to convey such beauty through my art.  In it, I reflect my love for nature and colors, aiming to seize the essence of the emotional and physical experience.”

Come meet Mari Carmen during her solo artist reception and exhibition opening night on Friday, November 29, from 7 PM until 10 PM. The Magical Elements of Nature Exhibition will feature many of Mari Carmen’s impressive artworks, from paintings to sculptures and more. 

Galeria Adelmo is located in the Little Havana Arts District and opened in April of 2010. The gallery’s primary goal is to represent and promote the artworks of local established and emerging artists from South Florida and throughout the globe.

The gallery showcases a new emerging artist the last Friday of each month and has been doing so for over a decade. Galeria Adelmo offers private painting lessons, intimate group painting parties, as well as a Saturday morning group art class.
