Galeria Adelmo is pleased to present EFFLORESCENT: Flora and Color in the Paintings of Helen M. Weinstein featuring imaginative artwork. You will be enveloped into her refined artistic style and technique capturing the majestic allurement of flowers and other elements of nature. The opening night artist reception and exhibition is on Friday, December 27, and the exhibition runs through January 27, 2020.

About the Artist:

Helen M. Weinstein is an artist focusing on color and form by combining representative plant figures and abstract color fields in her paintings. Working in oil on canvas or wood panel, Weinstein’s paintings are distinguished by linear figurative flowers and plant forms created by applying stencils or hand-drawn over subtle areas of colors rich in chromatic and tonal variations. A notable signature of her work is her sophisticated use of color. Weinstein often layers complementary colors which she further works by rubbing, scrapping, or drippings. By revealing and concealing underlying colors, she achieves an overall richness and depth in her paintings.

Helen Weinstein is also an established interior designer working in New York and Miami regions for decades. Her clients range from distinguished residential and corporate customers throughout the East Coast and The United States. Weinstein lives and works in Miami Beach, Florida, and Greenport, New York. She studied oil painting in New York City at the 92nd Street Y, and at the TriBeCa studio of Diane Green. She currently studies at the ArtCenter/South Florida under Pablo Contrisciani in Miami Beach, Florida. Helen has exhibited her art with solo shows throughout New York and Florida over the course of thirty years.

You may meet and greet with Helen Weinstein during her solo artist reception and exhibition opening night on Friday, December 27, from 7 PM until 10 PM. Efflorescent: Flora and Color in the Paintings of Helen M. Weinstein exhibition will feature many of Weinstein’s impressive oil paintings and the show will run through January 27, 2020.

Galeria Adelmo is located in the Little Havana Arts District and opened in April of 2010. The gallery’s primary goal is to represent and promote the artworks of local established and emerging artists from South Florida and throughout the globe.The gallery showcases a new emerging artist the last Friday of each month and has been doing so for over a decade.
